NBT Bank to Open Financial Center and Branch in Downtown Schenectady
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (OCTOBER 29, 2009) - NBT Bank and Schenectady County officials announced today that NBT Bank will open a financial center and full-service branch in Center City on State Street in downtown Schenectady, pending regulatory approval. The community bank has more than 25 branches in the Capital Region, including one in Duanesburg in Schenectady County.

KINDL BUILDING WILL SOON HOUSE SCCC’s WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
(Schenectady, NY) Officials from Schenectady County and Schenectady County Community College (SCCC), along with members of the Kindl family gathered today to announce the donation of 201 State Street to Schenectady County for use by SCCC. The building will provide the College with much needed office space for programs and services as enrollment at the college continues to increase.
Schenectady County and New York City-based Developer Move Forward with Plans to Re-develop former Kmart Site in Glenville
(Schenectady, N.Y.) Schenectady County officials today provided an update on plans to redevelop the former Kmart site in the Town of Glenville at the corner of Saratoga Road (Route 50) and Glenridge Road. The County is working with the owner of the site to recruit a major national retailer to the Town of Glenville.
